When using Payflex

 

What is Payflex? 

Payflex offers the first truly free payment plan in South Africa. Check out with Payflex and pay only 25% of the purchase price today. Your goods are shipped immediately. And you pay the rest over 6-weeks at no additional cost (zero fees, zero interest*). * Default fees apply if you miss a payment. 

 

Are there requirements to use Payflex? 

All you need is your ID number to confirm eligibility and your debit or credit card. If you qualify, Payflex will charge your card today, and every 2 weeks until paid in full. 

Yes, you’ll need: 

  • All Visa, Mastercard or American Express Cards are accepted  

  • South African ID number  

  • An email address 

  • An SMS-capable phone number 

 

How do I sign up? 

  1. The option will be presented at checkout. After confirming your personal details, you’ll be sent an SMS message to confirm your identity. You’ll then set up your payment method with Payflex and accept the terms of your payment plan. 

  1. To use Payflex in ARC stores, download the Payflex app and follow the instructions provided. 

 

Which payment methods are accepted? 

Your first payment of 25% will be paid upfront and your goods will be delivered/ handed to you as if you’d paid the whole amount. Thereafter the next three (3) payments of 25% each will be paid automatically every two (2) weeks, for six (6) weeks. 

 

Where can I use Payflex? 

You can use Payflex on Arcstore.co.za and in all Arc stores. 

 

What if I can’t make a payment? 

Please reach out to Payflex customer service team and they’ll be happy to look into the options available. You can contact them Monday – Friday between 08h00 and 17h00 in the Payflex app or at Payflex.co.za 

 

Are there late fees? 

Payflex will charge you a default fee of R65.00 (incl. VAT) to cover their costs. A further R65.00 (incl. VAT) will be charged for every week that the payment remains unpaid. For their full terms and conditions, click here 

 

RETURNS 

What if I make a return? 

  • Any full or partial return of the Goods is subject to the ARC’s returns policy which can be found here 

  • Items purchased with Payflex cannot be refunded in-store. For cash refunds, items must be returned to our online Store, please Contact ARC customer Care on 0873304946.

- Product to be returned within 14 days of purchase in original resaleable condition with the purchase receipt. 

- The purchase price will be refunded as a gift voucher that can be used at any of our ARC stores but is not valid for use on arcstore.co.za.  

- This gift voucher will NOT be applied to your Payflex account, and you MUST continue to make payments to Payflex per the original agreement.

Purchased online 

- Product to be returned within 14 days of purchase in original resaleable condition with the order confirmation. 

- The purchase price will be refunded as a gift voucher that can be used at any of our ARC stores but is not valid for use on arcstore.co.za.  

- This gift voucher will NOT be applied to your Payflex account, and you MUST continue to make payments to Payflex per the original agreement.  

-Contact ARC customer Care on 0873304946. 

-ARC head office team will arrange the collection from your nominated address 

-Once the item is inspected at our warehouse, your refund will be triggered. 
-The purchase price will be refunded to the Payflex account used on the original transaction.  
-*Your Payflex refund should reflect within 48hours of refund confirmation. 
-The amount and length of your payment plan will be adjusted accordingly. 

 

Payflex takes all the risk, both credit, and fraud. We are not responsible for any payment disputes or issues with Payflex.
